Once again stuck inside. No fun when it is bright and sunny. Best of the week's sightings so far was a Southern Hawker at the Ashes, Howden on Thursday, and a Red Kite on the Wolds the same day.
Neil Hart has been out and about though. Few Spotted Redshanks and Little Egrets at Blacktoft RSPB with sundry Marsh Harriers. On the Wolds he managed a singing Quail, yaffling Green Woodpecker and a Corn Bunting on Wednesday.
