Fairweather photography

Despite the cold weather, moth trapping goes on regardless. Doug Fairweather trapped this Least Black Arches near Langton on Friday night. From notes, this specimen is thought to be the first for the site.
Another was trapped overnight at Tophill Low, which I think is the first record for several years.

There is also this delightful composition of a Snail spp (to be identified later) with, for the funghi enthusiast, Common Eyelash.

Both pictures courtesy of Doug Fairweather.
